It appears to have been a surprise for my Father; was it the same for you and Professor Dolohov? It's odd to see such a serious demeanor cast over the entire affair. I mean, I've been looking forward to this moment since I was on training brooms. I would have thought it was the opportunity that every Father, Mother, and Uncle had dreamed of for their charges.

Oh and Hydra was chosen, too. Not sure if you noticed.
