As much as I appreciate your concern, I've been "kneeling" for a while now. She knows or she doesn't, but I proceed as if she doesn't - very carefully, that is - precisely because I do not want to insult her. Nor do I want to lose the other benefits our marriage brings.

I suspect that she doesn't want to lose those things, either - it's my desire that she can do without (and has done since we had Rigel).
